019 Drill Charging Station: Great shop project
Drill Charging Station
The drill charging station is a very practical shop project. Using this work center will have your tools ready for action when you need them. I’ve got into the habit of putting them back and keeping the batteries ready for use because of its convenience.
Built entirely out of plywood, this charging station is an economical way to help organize your workshop. If your shop is anything like mine drills and their accessories tend to be everywhere. Now you can keep the organized, always charged and ready for use. As a bonus you only use one electrical outlet, which are always in demand.
The drill station provides you an area for your drills, chargers and their adapters plus a compartment for spare batteries. The docking station hangs on the wall using a french cleat system saving your valuable work space.
This handy docking station plan is easily adapted to accommodate any number of cordless tools.
