I watched the video from Kreg several times and created the plan from that. Kreg did not have a plan available that I could find. So I came up wi this one.
The bed is a very basic build, assembled using pocket hole joinery. It is constructed with two assembled boxes that are joined back to back to form the main portion of the bed. The box assemblies also provide the case for the three drawers. So you end up with six drawers for under bed storage.
The majority of the components are sized the same so it makes batching out parts very easy. The drawers are mounted on full extension slides so they won’t bind as humidity levels change.
As an added bonus for Sketchup users I have provided all of the dimensions in both US and Metric. Thanks to a great new plugin that TIG from Sketchucation called “Dual Dim”
